Q: Are you going to represent me as a real estate broker?
A: No, Cash Is King is not licensed with the Oregon Real Estate Agency.  Although some of its representatives are licensed brokers, these representatives will not be representing you as real estate brokers unless you enter into a separate agreement with them.  This means, for example, that Cash Is King will not be listing your house for sale, will not be conducting open houses, will not be having people walk through the home (other than possibly a Cash Is King representative), will not be marketing your house, and will not be taking any of those actions that typically are associated with what a real estate broker does.

Q: Are you a licensed real estate company?
A: Cash Is King is not licensed with the Oregon Real Estate Agency as a real estate company, although some of its representatives are licensed, real estate brokers.  Cash Is King may act as a wholesaler buyer, meaning that it occasionally will assign (transfer) the purchase agreement to a third-party buyer or may sell the property to a third party at a price higher than your agreed-upon purchase price.  However, your agreed-upon purchase price will not change.  

Q:  How are you different from a real estate broker?
A: Great question! Several years ago, we discovered that so many house sellers were being ignored and under-served by real estate investors AND agents who were limited in how they could solve homeowners’ problems.

Brokers provide a great service for those that can wait as long as 6 to 12 months to sell and who don’t mind giving up some of that sale price to pay for the commissions. But If you’re after speed and convenience, don’t want to deal with repairs, and you’re willing to sell your property at a discount for that convenience, our Cash Offer program may be right for you. Our company and our associates buy the house directly from you.
